How do you save….what, exactly? Is this what you want the rest of your life to look like? Because from the behavior you've described, this is just a glimpse of your future with this woman.
Easy, leave him. Problem solved ? what a douchebag. Don't stick around with people that don't love you. I don't have eyes for anyone else other than my lady, that's how I know I'm in love. I don't even have to try. Everyone looks ugly to me. ❤️ has made me blind.
I agree that it was shitty to talk about them there. I wrote up an apology to them but the bf shot it down. I stopped drinking since this happened and I am reevaluating many things thanks to your comment and this whole thread. Thank you for taking the time to comment!
INFO: are you romantically interested in her? Because your post makes it sound like it. Why do you care so much who she’s hanging out with? I can understand feeling hurt for being continually brushed off, but she doesn’t owe you her free time even if she’s spending it with other people.
Not to devalue your previous relationships, but what you are going through now is the most common type of relationship. Your family won't find it weird.
It'll be the best for you to communicate this as early as possible
You do not deserve this treatment at all. He is abusive and not respecting you. You mention past trauma, but you're probably writing-off his behavior as not as bad as it actually is due to experiencing past trauma. You're also blaming yourself in this situation because of past trauma, to which I want to tell you, this is not your fault. However you behave due to past trauma (or at all), you do not deserve this. No one deserves this. Please leave him.
I’m not asking for validation, I said I’ve made up my mind about reaching out and was asking for some input on how you can get through to someone who has issues with pride. Given this is the relationship subreddit, I thought maybe I’d come across someone who can speak to having had a relationship with someone like this.
I also didn’t need your opinion on moral judgement, which I’m pretty sure is against the rules of this subreddit.
Just because you have a wife doesn’t mean you have a healthy relationship. Especially by your comments, you don’t seem to understand how letting someone talk shit about your partner is wrong and disrespectful, or borderline cheating.
You're not exclusive and you've only been dating a few months. She's out for drinks with a mate so just leave her be until she's back home or the next day. Making plans etc requires thought, she'll probably need to check her diary etc and to reply properly. She doesn't want to do that when she's out. You're massively overthinking it and being a little needy. Just chill and speak to her the following day.

Well keep romancing him. If you do these things anyway it will happen at some point
Time to sit down with him and tell him his financing his brother’s life needs to end. He is married, and about to be a father. Kids are expensive.
You also need to ask him why he has allowed this to happen/continue. Frankly, it sounds a little abusive.
You did good. Carry on.

Darling let him go. This should have ended the first time he punched a wall or even sooner. Good luck
I want to prove her that I truly loved her
You had five years to prove that. Instead, you used those five years to hurt her again, and again, and again.
Move on. Make a better man of yourself and accept that this ship has sailed.
