1. To answer your question, all you can do is fully apologize and then wait it out.

   I get why your stomach dropped when you read those text messages, and I also get why you arrived at the conclusion you did, but it was a possible conclusion, and in those moments of “what the hell is this” it is best to just…say that out loud. You jumped to the worst conclusion, sat quietly for an entire evening, ruining your wife's time and making her worry about you, and then “confronted” her about the phone.

   Here are ways that this could have gone:

   Pick up phone, read message, yell “who the F is Jim” and have her come in and laugh at you and tell you that it isn't her phone. Come out of the restroom and just say “whose phone is this” and let her explain, because it isn't normal for there to be a phone in there. “Confront her” right then by asking her what these messages are. Spend 5 seconds on the phone figuring out it wasn't your wife's phone.

   All of these end with you asking questions about the situation, not about her fidelity. She may get annoyed or laugh at you, but also would have accepted that if the situation was reversed, she would react similarly. But how you reacted is the worst way to do it (besides violence), and so all you can do is give a full apology and give her some space.

   However, he is totally taking advantage of you, he should have bought you a neck fan also, don't sell yourself short a 200 massage isn't adequate recompense for 3 days labour , realistically I would expect a third of the profit , one third being for him and the other third as he owns the food truck .

   He's putting money into savings, they are his savings not both of your savings.

   Say for example you eventually do move in together, have kids, etc.

   I think He will leave you with all of the mental load, child care and chores and make bank, it's not fair at all , stop setting the bar so low for yourself and your worth

   At this rate of going you should get your own food truck if you're doing this much work for free anyway
