So OP, take solace in knowing your two buddies will still be happy. Find your own happiness. If they suddenly turned human, they'd probably tell you that's what they'd want for you too.
Break up, move on, take whatever money you can get out of the current house, start a new life, and get a new dog. If you have to on-line in an apartment, go rescue an older dog who just is happy to chill out with you, and you two can both start new lives together.
